Meetings
- When, Where, What and Who
|
You
are welcome to visit our monthly meeting and program at the Pulaski
County Public Library on Main Street in downtown Somerset.
We meet at 7:00 PM on the Third Thursday of each month
in the basement (use side door). If
you would like to attend, please call to verify the time and location,
in case we have special events that change the regularly scheduled
meeting.
Would
you like to offer a program at the kennel club meeting? Dog sports?
Something special you and your canine companion do? Or a breed
that you feel the club needs to find out about? Call us (606-451-2181)
or email us ('angela@imagineopals.com') and we'll be happy to
accomodate you!
This
year, your new board has decided to offer a "Meet and Greet"
before each meeting. So, join us on our monthly kennel club meeting,
and enjoy a refreshment while you chat with your kennel club friends,
new and old!!

each meeting a program is provided for the members and guests -
Here,
LCKC Member Christine Wilson and Hannah present a very informative
program about Soft Coated Wheaton Terriers at the October 2006
Meeting.
And
Afterwards, Hannah received her complimentary snuggle with Board
Member Sandra Stokley.

Programs
are geared toward dog lovers, covering such topics as agility, health
issues, special dog training (therapy dogs, flyball, drug dogs, search
and rescue), junior showmanship, show handling and responsible breeding.
We guarantee that you’ll learn something new at each program.

Also
at the October 2006 meeting, Tammie Hisatake-Bumgardner, DVM, a
nationally known expert in the training and testing of search &
rescue dogs, presented a wonderful program on training search and
rescue dogs. |
